一名叫杰卡的年轻男子回到了家乡准备将老房子进行出售。当他在房子里收拾行李，进行打扫以及翻新的过程中，他对各种物品抱以嗤之以鼻的态度且言语粗鲁。很快，杰卡遇到了很多奇怪的事情以及无法解释的神秘现象。最终，他意识到这个家庭隐藏了一个秘密，不仅如此，他还发现，屋子里并非只有他一个人。
